W fullback Bradie Ewing, a multi-sport prep athlete, was surprised to learn that wide receiver Jared Abbrederis was a competitive high school wrestler through his junior year. "I guess he does have that lean wrestler's built,'' Ewing said.
Abbrederis also has the tenacity associated with wrestling; a tenacity that has helped him on the field sustain blocks on defensive backs; a tenacity that has helped him off the field survive as a walk-on.
