WSU notched four wins over ranked teams, including a win over No. 10 Ne- braska on the road, and won nine Conference games for the first time since 1994-95. While facing the No. 16-toughest schedule, the Cougs reached the Conference Tournament semifinals for the second time in the last three seasons and received votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll for the first time since 1990-91. • Washington State welcomes back an experienced group returning four of five starters from last season, and eight overall letterwinners. Head coach June Daugherty will also welcome new talent in the form of the seven freshmen. • Senior G Tia Presley and junior G Lia Galdeira look to lead the backcourt again this season after becoming the first pair of Cougar teammates to earn all-Conference honors in the same season in program history, and the first to earn all-league nods since 1999. The duo combined to account for 50 percent of the team's scoring offense, which ranked third in the Conference. Presley averaged 19.0 ppg, the fifth highest in the Pac-12 and the third most in WSU single-season history. Galdiera scored 611 points, the third-most in WSU single-season history, and led the team with 61 three-pointers, the eighth-most in the Pac-12, and the third- most in Cougar program history. • WSU takes on another tough schedule in 2014-15, facing four NCAA Tournament teams in non-conference play, including NCAA Final Four participant Maryland. 2014-15 WASHINGTON STATE ROSTER JUNE DAUGHERTY Head Coach • 8th Year at Washington State Alma Mater: Ohio State, 1978 73-146 (.333) at Washington State • Overall: 387-360 (.518, 25 Years) Daugherty enters her eighth season with the Cougars and continues to lead the charge toward a new era in WSU women's basketball ... led the Cougs to its first postseason appearance since 1991 ...
