in classes ending in 4 and 9 who
joined us in april for the 2014
Medical school Reunion Weekend.
More than 550 total guests (including
children) attended, which is a 29
percent increase in attendance from
the 2009 Reunion Weekend when
these classes celebrated their last
reunion. Hailing from 33 states, 302
medical alumni participated in this
year's reunion.
activities included: tours of Carr's
Hill, Grounds, the Rotunda, and the
Claude Moore Medical Education
Building; receptions and class dinners; a
CME session; and private class events.
We would like to thank the 2014
reunion classes for being instrumental
in giving back to the UVa school of
Medicine and UVa Health system
during fiscal year 2014. a total of 394
donors representing all reunion class
years participated, contributing more
than $957,951 in gifts and pledges. Our
total reunion alumni participation rate
was 33 percent.

Foundation is proud to acknowledge
that the Class of 1959 raised the most
dollars ($441,512) and the Class of
1964 had the highest participation (59
percent) among all classes returning
for the 2014 Medical school Reunion
Weekend. these classes have been
honored on the Reunion Giving plaque
at the UVa Medical alumni association
Headquarters.
