at UVa Children's Hospital is a dream
come true. Designed with medically
complex patients in mind, the building
concentrates UVa Medical Center's
outpatient pediatric care into a single,
child- and family-friendly environment.

Caring for those Who Fall through
the Healthcare Cracks
Nearly a quarter century ago, two UVa
residents saw the need for a free clinic in
Charlottesville to treat uninsured residents
who needed medical care. today the
Charlottesville Free Clinic is more active
than ever, providing not only free medical
services but dental care as well, with more
than 10,000 patient visits last year alone.
