Headed up by Greenville flagship station WOLT-FM 103.3, it is also available over Upstate affiliate WGOG-FM 96.3 of Walhalla and will be presented online by StretchAudio through www.FurmanPaladins.com. In addition, all home and away games will be available inside the stadium via transmitter at 105.9 FM. Dan Scott, the new "Voice of the Furman Paladins", will call the play-by-play action this fall, replacing Chuck Hussion, who called Furman games on radio for the past 17 years. Hussion now serves as executive producer of the IMG College/Furman Sports Network and will do play-by-play for Furman-produced televised games on CSS and WMYA-40 in Greenville. A 12-year veteran of the Upstate broadcasting scene, Scott hosts his own 9:00 a.m.-Noon weekday morning radio show on WCCP-FM. Prior to joining the Furman team, Scott served the Clemson Tiger Sports Network in numerous capacities, including baseball, The Fifth Quarter Show, Tiger Tailgate Show, and guest host of coaches shows, and was play-by-play voice of WCCP exclusive broadcasts of Clemson baseball and women's basketball. In addition, he has called Upstate prep football for over a decade. Scott began his radio career in his hometown of Williamson, W.Va., working as a news and sports director at WBTH/WXCC. He later spent 10 years in the newspaper business as a writer and 2 sports editor for publications in five states, winning numerous press association awards, including two Best Sports Page citations from the West Virginia Press Association. Joining Scott with color commentary will be Paladin All-American center Corey Stewart, who served the Furman Sports Network as sideline reporter for four seasons before moving into the booth as color analyst last year. Former Furman offensive lineman David Cobb, another five-year veteran of the Paladin broadcast team, is back again as sideline reporter, as is Don Clardy, a three-year letterman at wide receiver for the Paladins from 1988-90. Assisting the broadcast will be veteran spotters Robbie Ross and Clint Hill. Chuck Hussion is the executive producer of the Furman Sports Network. All home game broadcasts will kick off with a 90-minute tailgate show, hosted by Scott, from the University Book Store. Fans can access live and archived play-by- play action of Paladin football over the in- ternet through the school's official athletics home page www.FurmanPaladins.com.
