Prior to that, Bluder was winless in 11 games in West Lafayette, Ind. March 24, 2013 – Iowa 69, Miami 53 Iowa outscored Miami (Fla.) by 17 points in the second half and improved to 10-5 in NCAA Tournament games hosted in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Samantha Logic scored 23 points with 11 rebounds and four assists. With 18:35 le, the Hawkeyes trailed by seven points before finishing on a 42-19 run. Jan. 19, 2014 – Iowa 81, Ohio State 74 In her first career collegiate start, freshman Ally Disterho scored 24 points with 10 rebounds and the Hawkeyes won for the first time in Columbus, Ohio, in the Bluder Era. Five UI players scored in double figures: Disterho, Melissa Dixon (16), Bethany Doolittle (14), eairra Taylor (11), and Alexa Kastanek (10). Feb. 6, 2014 Iowa 73, Penn State 70 Bethany Doolittle (field goal) and Ally Disterho (two free throws) scored in the final 1:12 help- ing the Hawkeyes upset No. 9 Penn State for their fourth straight Big Ten road victory. For Bluder, it was win No. 269, tying her with C. Vivian Stringer for the most in UI women's basketball history. It is also the seventh win by a Bluder-coached Hawk- eye team against a top-10 opponent. Feb. 10, 2014 – Iowa 90, Northwestern 84 Melissa Dixon made six 3-point field goals and scored 24 points leading Iowa past Northwestern. Bluder moved to the top of the all-time basket- ball win list at the UI, thanks to the Hawkeyes' trademark scoring balance. Dixon led the way and she was followed by Samantha Logic (20 points), eairra Taylor (16), Bethany Doolittle (14), and Ally Disterho (11). When the Hawkeyes defeated Penn State 73-65 on Feb. 10, 2008, it was career victory No. 500 for head coach Lisa Bluder.
