By the NUMBERS 3 Sophomore Natalie Cafone scored three goals in the University of Iowa field hockey team's 6-0 victory over Kent State on Sept. 22.  It is the Hawkeyes' first hat trick since Aubrey Coleman in 2012. 5 The number of ways the Hawkeye football team has scored touchdowns this season: fumble return, interception return, punt return, pass reception and run. 6 The University of Iowa men's golf team is seeking its sixth-straight NCAA postseason appearance in 2013-14 under head coach Mark Hankins. 22 The University of Iowa field hockey team opened the season ranked 13th in the country in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Preseason Poll. It marks the 22nd-straight week — dating back to Sept. 6, 2011 — Iowa has been ranked. The Hawkeyes have climbed as high as No. 8 in the rankings this season. 25 The number of consecutive nonconference victories by the Hawkeye soccer team dating back to the 2011 season. 67 University of Iowa junior Shelby Phillips fired a 5-under par 67 in the final round of the Chip-N-Club Invitational (Sept. 10), equaling the best 18-hole score in program history, and setting a tournament record. Phillips finished fifth overall (220/+4). 184 Punt return yardage total compiled by University of Iowa junior Kevonte Martin-Manley during the Hawkeyes' 59-3 win against Western Michigan on Sept. 21. The school record for punt return yardage is 201 by Nile Kinnick in 1939. 4,068 The combined number of fans in attendance watching the 2013 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series matchups in soccer and volleyball.  A school-record crowd of 1,594 saw the Iowa soccer team down Iowa State on Sept. 3 and 2,474 fans — the third-largest crowd in school history and most since 2009 — were in Carver-Hawkeye Arena for volleyball Sept. 21. University of Iowa junior Kevonte Martin-Manley returned four punts for 184 yards and two touchdowns Sept. 21 during a 59-3 win against Western Michigan. 7
