REMEMBER WHEN
Former Hawkeye Diane Nukuri-Johnson,
pictured with University of Iowa head coach
Layne Anderson, was a two-time cross
country All-American, earning the distinction
in 2006 and 2007. Nukuri-Johnson was also
a two-time NCAA Midwest Region cross
country champion and was twice named the
Midwest Region's Cross Country Female
Athlete of the Year. She was a nominee for
the Honda Sports Award and the recipient of
the Wilma Rudolph Courage Award in 2008.
