A Day of caring

More than 200 University of Iowa
student-athletes, including men's
basketball junior Melsahn Basabe,
participated in the annual "Hawkeye
Day of Caring" on April 21. The studentathletes partnered with the United Way
of Johnson County to arrange various
clean-up and spring-time activities in the
community. It was the 15th-consecutive
year the Iowa student-athletes have
undertaken the Day of Caring event.
