The Boston University softball team devotes much of its time to helping
the community. The Terriers volunteer at the Women's Lunch Place, which
provides services for women in need, and have continued to assist the
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer race organizers. Through the Boston
University Department of Athletics and the Student-Athlete Advisory
Committee (SAAC), players participate in the annual Holiday Reading
Program, help organize multiple Special Olympics events on campus and
mentor children through the College for Every Student program.
