Back to where it started
Title hopes alive, Badgers back at Coliseum
O
ne of the most unpredictable seasons in Wisconsin men's hockey history
will come down to one final,
unpredictable regular-season series. Fitting.
Wrapping up their home
and regular-season slates
this weekenend against
WCHA-leading St. Cloud
State, the Badgers prepare
for what will be a memorable, and perhaps historic,

consin returns to what was
its home ice from 1967-98.
A place that saw the Badgers
capture two of the program's
three WCHA titles.
"This is the home of Wisconsin hockey," Madison
native Keegan Meuer said.
"This is where it all started."
After their slow start to
the season (1-7-2), the Badgers have gone 11-2-5 over
their last 18, a run capped
last weekend by a road series
sweep of then-No. 13 Nebraska Omaha.
Now tied for fourth in
the WCHA standings, three
points for Wisconsin this
weekend would clinch home
ice in the league playoffs.
Four points, plus help from
