The women's soccer team returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005 and won a thrilling contest over Arizona State, winning on penalty kicks, 4-3, following a 1-1 draw.
November 8, 1997 HALTING THE HAWKEYES: The football team defeated No. 14 Iowa, 13-10, to break an 18-game winless streak against the Hawkeyes. The victory was also Wisconsin's first over a nationally-ranked team since upsetting sixth-ranked Penn State in 1995

November 8, 2008 3X THE ATTACK: In a 55-20 win at Indiana, David Gilreath (168), P.J. Hill (126) and John Clay (112) became the first Badger trio to each rush for 100 yards in a game. Gil- reath's total was boosted by a 90-yard TD run, the second longest in school history.
November 12, 2011 THE BIG TEN'S BEST: Montee Ball set UW and Big Ten records with his 27th touch- down of the season in a 42-13 win at Minnesota. Senior QB Russell Wilson also threw four touchdown passes to bring his total to 25 to break the UW single-season record for TD passes. He finished with 33, the second-highest total in Big Ten history.
