Badgers 2-0 in exhibitions » Wisconsin won both of its exhibi- tion games with a 90-39 trouncing of UW-La Crosse and a 60-47 win over Concordia, St. Paul.

score in double figures against UW- La Crosse. Sophomore Jacki Gulc- zynski led the team with 18 points while sophomore AnnMarie Brown added 11 points.

Black has a rebuilding job ahead, as UWM was 9-21 last season. She has a good base from which to build, return- ing four starters and 10 let- terwinners.
Freshmen Nicole Bauman and Dakota Whyte both chipped in 10 points apiece. Against Concordia, Bauman and Morgan Paige put up 17 points apiece.
Fresh impressions » All five of the Badgers' freshmen saw playing time in the UW's two exhibition games. Nicole Bauman, the 2012 Wis- consin State Player of the Year from Eisenhower High School in New Berlin, was the Badgers' leading scorer on the weekend, averaging 13.5 points per game. She also shot 52.6 percent from
the field while adding 5.0 rebounds per game.
