11 RYAN KRIENER, SOPHOMORE, MEN'S BASKETBALL "My family has had five different dogs since my childhood, all labs. My favorite dog growing up was Lexi. When she gave birth to her puppies, we sold one to one of the guys who did the special effects for the movie Talladega Nights." CHARLOTTE SULLIVAN, SOPHOMORE, WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS "I have a cat, Lucky, and a dog, Poppy. I don't have many stories about my pets, but Poppy has lots of cute outfits, including little pink pjs that she wears when she sleeps." JEREN GLOSSER, SOPHOMORE, WRESTLING "I had a pygmy goat named Dori. My mom ran it over with a car but blamed the mailman. I was 7-years-old. The truth finally came out when I tried to confront the mailman." ALLYSSA FLUIT, SOPHOMORE, WOMEN'S SWIMMING & DIVING "I have two dogs, a wiener dog named Rudy and a Jack Russell named Abbey. My favorite memory was when our family Christmas tree broke and my mother was on her knees trying to fix it as the tree went haywire and was going in circles. Abbey was behind her, watching the tree as her head kept making the same movements as the tree. My mom was upset no one was helping her, but the rest of the family was watching the dog and laughing. Looking back, everyone wishes they would have grabbed a video camera." JAKE BRODARZON, JUNIOR, MEN'S GYMNASTICS "My first pet was a turtle named Franklin and my second was a dog named Cosmo, who I still have. We had picked out a dog online from a breeder and when we went to pick him up, there were other puppies and I really liked the dog we have now. I cried and forced my fam- ily to change its mind and adopt him instead. Luckily, they did."
