or head coach Bobbie Kelsey, there were a lot of new things in her first season at Wisconsin. "Last year was tough just because everybody's new — I'm new, they're new to me, I'm new to them," said Kelsey. "It's a new offense. It's a new defense. Everything is new." Things aren't so new this

season with seven returning letterwinners, including two starters. Kelsey must still figure out to work in seven newcomers. "It's a lot for them com- ing from high school to this level," said Kelsey. "They're working really hard, really coming along and learning the offense."
Scoring, rebounding return » The Badgers return 60 percent of their scoring and 59 percent of their rebounding from last season. Wisconsin returns two of its top three scorers for 2012-13 including senior Taylor Wurtz, who led the Badgers with 16.1 points per game. Junior Morgan Paige added a sea- son-high 10 points per game. Wurtz is also UW's top returning rebounder with 7.6 rebounds per game. Junior Cassie Rochel was third on the team last season with 4.2 rebounds per game.
Lots of time available » With only two starters returning, there will be lots of opportunity to see improved playing time this sea- son.
Wurtz is a two-year starter, hav- ing seen major playing time since her sophomore season, while Paige earned a starting role last season. Other part-time starters from last season were Rochel (3 games), se- nior Tiera Stephen (2 games), soph- omore Lindsay Smith (2 games) and sophomore Jacki Gulczynski (1 game).
