5 THINGS TO WATCH SATURDAY / SUNDAY • NOON • Battle for first With first place in the Big Ten on the line, the Badgers welcome confer- ence-leading Michigan to Goodman Diamond this weekend. Wisconsin is 12-6 in Big Ten play, just one game out of first place. With 33 wins, UW is also one win away from tying its single-season record for victories, which was set in 2000 when the Badgers went 34-24. SATURDAY • NOON • BTN Spring fling in replay Melvin Gordon ran wild last Saturday, as 30 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown made him the star of the Wisconsin Football Spring Game. The Cardinal team downed White, 21-10, as QB Joel Stave went 15-for-25 for 135 yards and a touchdown. BTN will replay all the action Saturday at noon. SATURDAY • 9 PM • TNT Devin Harris and all that Jazz The NBA Playoffs are in full swing, and two former Badgers are in the thick of the action. Greg Stiemsma's Boston Celtics face the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference, while Devin Harris and the Utah Jazz battle the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference. The Jazz host the Spurs in Game 3 of their series Saturday at 9 p.m. on TNT. SUNDAY • 2 PM • NBC Kings trying not to feel the Blues The eighth-seeded L.A. Kings have been a big surprise in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Former Badger Davis Drewiske and the Kings took down top seed Vancouver and now have a 3-0 lead over No. 2 seed St. Louis. The series has Drewiske facing former Badger goaltender Brian Elliott in a battle of teammates from UW's 2006 national championship squad. SUNDAY • 7 / 10:30 PM • BTN Looking at the Big Ten race With the Big Ten softball season winding down, the Big Ten Diamond Report on BTN will break down a busy weekend and its implications on the standings.
