The 33rd-ranked UW men's tennis team earned an at-large bid into the 2008 NCAA Champi- onships, marking the second-consecutive year the Badgers advanced to the NCAA tourna- ment and the fourth time in school history.
April 23, 1985 RIBBIES: Tim Eichorst had seven RBI for the baseball team as the Badgers downed Illinois-Chicago, 13-7.

April 24, 1999 TEAM CAPTAINS: Chris McIntosh, Donnel Thompson, Ron Dayne, Chris Ghidorzi and Jason Doering were chosen as the 1999 UW football squad captains. They led the Bad- gers to a 10-2 record and a second-consecutive Rose Bowl victory.
April 27, 2003 CHIPPING IN: Women's golfer Malinda Johnson placed third at the Big Ten champi- onship in Iowa City, Iowa. Johnson tied the UW school record with a 72-hole score of 296.
