Alex Hatz scored an impressive win in the mile at the Tyson Invitational, doing so in record time. The sophomore's time of 3 minutes, 58.68 seconds topped the Bad- gers' two-year-old school record in the event.
After falling behind, 5-2, UW se- niors Aleksandra Markovic and Angela Chupa came back to take the next six games and defeat Sophie Nel- son and Christy Sipes, 8-5, in the deciding doubles match as part of the Badgers' 6-1 victory over No. 37 NC State.
