Named in honor of the "founding mother" of NIU women's athletics, Dr. Mary Bell, Mary M. Bell Field has served as the home of the Huskie softball team since 1992. A 600-seat capacity grandstand, lights and a beautiful tree-lined outfield add to the experience of watching an exciting softball game at Mary M. Bell Field.
The berm just beyond the center field fence is a popular spot for fans to congregate and cheer of the Huskies.
