MEDIA/PHOTO CREDENTIALS Requests for media/photo credentials should be faxed or mailed on offi- cial letterhead to the Fresno State Athletics Communications Office (fax: 559-278- 4689) at least 48 hours prior to the event. Since space is lim- ited, accommodations are on the following priority basis: daily newspapers, originating radio and television stations, national weekly or monthly publica- tions, electronic media outlets, local and regional television crews. Priority is granted to media entities that cover Fresno State women's basketball on a regular basis, which includes coverage of press conferences, open prac- tices, home and road games, and to visiting media members. Freelance and amateur photographers not on assignment are not eligible for photo creden- tials, except by prior approval from the Fresno State Athletics Communica- tions Office. Credentials may be picked up in the Athletics Communications Office prior to the day of the game. Note: Web sites that sponsor message boards, message centers or chat rooms where people are allowed to post anonymous information will not be issued credentials. If a medium has an online site that sponsors these anonymous forums, they may continue to receive credentials under its tra- ditional medium (newspaper, magazine, radio, television), but will not be granted additional passes for online staff. PHOTO REGULATIONS NCAA regulations limit the shooting of photos to the area directly behind each basket. The Fresno State Athletics Department reserves all commercial and non-commercial rights to the use of film, videotapes and still photo- graphs of its athletics events and facilities. ATHLETICS COMMUNICATIONS The Fresno State Athletics Communications Office will provide play-by-play, halftime and final box scores. Statistics monitors are also placed along press row. Audio/video high- lights, coaches' shows, game recaps, student-athlete biographical informa- tion and team schedules are also available. INTERVIEW POLICY Interview requests with players and coaches should be channeled through the Fresno State Athletics Communications Office. Please try to make your requests at least 24 hours in advance and always notify the Fresno State Athletics Communications Office if you plan on attending practice. Practices are generally open to the media, although the coaching staff reserves the right to close practice at any time. Interviews will be conducted with play- ers or coaches only before or after practice. Please remember that Fresno State's training rooms and locker rooms are closed at all times. For practice schedules, you may check with the Fresno State Athletics Communications Office. POSTGAME INTERVIEWS A postgame press conference featuring Fresno State head coach Rodney Terry and selected players will be conducted in the interview room, locat- ed off the media work room, which is accessible through the tunnel in the northwest corner of the building. Media will be notified in advance if there is a change to the postgame press conference format. Requests should be made to Assistant Athletics Communications Director Stephen Trembley prior to the completion of the game.
