MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY: Junior Reed Connor was named the Big Ten Runner of the Week after a second-place finish at the Bill Dellinger Invitational. Connor’s performance helped the Badgers win the event with 24 team points, 35 points in front of second-place Oregon.

VOLLEYBALL: Wisconsin recorded a season-high 61 kills Sunday against Ohio State as the Badgers upset the 24th-ranked Buckeyes in Columbus. It was the first win over a ranked opponent since beating No. 24 Northwestern last November.

FOOTBALL: Russell Wilson passed for 255 yards in Wisconsin’s 48-17 win over Nebraska. The senior QB is averaging 12.5 yards per pass attempt, best of any quarterback in the country. The FBS record of 11.1 yards per attempt was set by BYU Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer in 1989.

MEN’S SOCCER: UW beat Indiana for the first time since 1995 Sunday at the McClimon Soccer Complex. The Badgers were led by sophomore midfielder Nick Janus, who recorded an assist and a goal in the 2-0 upset over the No. 6 Hoosiers.
