Chairman's MESSAGE
We are proud to present our 2014 Environment Report, which covers a wide array of
environmental initiatives that comprise our Green Team eorts. As the Alpine Bank
Green Team begins our second decade, it is quite apparent that our success is a result
of a complete team eort involving our banks, our communities, our employees and
their families as well. Our work over the past ten years has culminated in our
receiving a Green Colorado Award, placing us in the top 50 greenest companies in
our state. We are likewise particularly proud that we are the only bank within the
state to receive this prestigious award.
During 2014, Alpine Bank invested approximately $766,000 to purchase a large
number of solar panels within the bank's primary service area in western Colorado.
As we begin to focus on the Front Range market, we have plans to make a substantial
purchase of solar panels in the Denver metro area. Not only does it make economic
sense, it is an eort to further minimize our carbon
footprint.
