MEN'S TRACK
The Badgers check in at No. 4 in
the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country
Coaches Association's Program of the Year
standings following the cross country and
indoor track seasons with 20 points. The
Program of the Year award is presented to the
program that finishes with lowest cumulative
team score from the NCAA cross country and
indoor and outdoor track championships.
The Badgers finished runner-up in the
standings last year to Arkansas.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
In the midst of their 16th-con-
secutive trip to the NCAA tournament,
the Badgers have advanced to the Sweet
16 for the third time in four seasons ―
and the sixth time in the last 12 years.
Only Duke (8 times), Kansas (8) and
Michigan State (8) have advanced to the
regional round of the tournament
more often than the Badgers
in the last 12 seasons.
