20 // VARSITY March 20, 2014 MEN'S BASKETBALL The Badgers are 9-4 against the NCAA tournament field, with their .692 win percentage ranking as the third-best of any team in the tournament against this year's field of 68. Wisconsin is also the only team with two wins over No. 1 seeds (Florida, Virginia). 100 10 .692 ›› WOMEN'S HOCKEY Senior goaltender Alex Rigsby won her 100th career game last Saturday when the Badgers knocked off Harvard in an NCAA quarterfinal game at LaBahn Arena. The victory moved Rigsby into a tie with Mercy- hurst's Hillary Pattenden for second place on the NCAA all-time wins list. WOMEN'S TRACK With senior Deanna Latham's fifth-place finish in the pentathlon at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships last weekend, the Badgers have boasted an All- American in the event for five consecutive seasons. UW's combined events program has become the nation's most successful, with the Badgers combining to earn 10 All- America awards in the indoor pentath- lon and outdoor heptathlon over the last five years. Oregon ranks No. 2 over that span with five All- America citations. MEN'S HOCKEY Wisconsin owns a six-game win streak at the Xcel Energy Center, site of this week's inaugural Big Ten tourna- ment. The Badgers won the 2013 WCHA Final Five with wins over Minnesota State, St. Cloud State and Colorado College from March 21-23 of last year. They also won both games at the 2010 NCAA West Regional, as well as the third-place game of the 2010 WCHA Final Five. BY THE NUMBERS 6 ››
