PLAYER OF THE YEAR
MARCH 10, 2004: The Big Ten announced that UW junior Devin Harris had been
named conference player of the year. Harris was the first Badger to earn the award
since Don Rehfeldt in 1950.
THE MOST
MARCH 10, 2007: With his first basket against Illinois in a Big Ten tournament semi-
final, Alando Tucker passed Michael Finley to become UW's all-time leading scorer.
Tucker finished his career with 2,217 points, ninth-best in Big Ten history.
BO KNOWS WINS
MARCH 9, 2012: Bo Ryan became the winningest coach in UW men's basketball
history with his 266th win after a 79-71 win over Indiana at the Big Ten tournament.
Senior Rob Wilson tallied a career-high 30 points (previous high was 13), going 11-
for-16 from the field and 7-for-10 from 3-point range.
HEAVY HITTERS
MARCH 10, 2013: Wisconsin heavyweight Connor Medbery was named 2013 Big Ten Fresh-
man of the Year following a 25-win season that included seven wins over ranked opponents.
Medbery was also the only freshman ranked in the top 25 at heavyweight for most of the
season, finishing the season ranked No. 10. Medbery was the fourth Badger wrestler to win
Big Ten Freshman of the Year, joining Andrew Howe (2009), Jeff Walter (1992) and Keith Davi-
son (1990).
