Badgers and Big Ten
celebrating 100 years
UW hosting championship at Kohl Center
H
appy Anniversary Big
Ten wrestling. This
year marks the 100th
showing of the Big Ten Wres-
tling Championships and the
Badgers are happy to host the
milestone event.
Wisconsin will welcome 11
other conference teams and
over 7,000 fans to the nation's
premiere conference champi-
onship.
It is the sixth time the Bad-
gers have hosted the event and
first time in the Kohl Center, ―
the perfect venue for an event
that deserves a grand party.
"I think it's great that we're
here in the Kohl Center," UW
head coach Barry Davis said.
"I think it's a really great thing
for our young guys. I think it
gives us a huge advantage.
"We got all of our tickets
sold, a lot of Badger fans are
coming and should be an ex-
citing weekend all the way
around."
Fans will get to see reigning
champions looking to repeat
and rookies looking to make a
name for themselves.
It will be a weekend full of
ups (upsets) and downs (take-
downs). A weekend you don't
want to miss.
