MEN'S HOCKEY
It has been nearly five months
since the Badgers were ranked among
the nation's top five teams. UW began
the season at No. 3 in the polls, got as
high as No. 2, but then dropped into the
teens through early January. They have
now climbed back into the top five as this
week's fifth-ranked team in both major
polls and the Pairwise
Rankings, which mimic the NCAA
selection process.
