It was pure joy for the
Badgers after they finished off match point
to dispatch of Purdue
in their regional final
matchup in Champaign,
Ill., last Saturday. The win,
which came on the heels
of a regional semifinal triumph over Florida State,
propelled UW to its first
NCAA championship appearance since 2000.
