CREATING A LEGACY: PAULA WILKINS
INTRODUCING WILKINS // JANUARY 25, 2007
Paula Wilkins was introduced as the fourth women's soccer coach in Wisconsin history. Wilkins came to UW after
compiling a remarkable 119-19-11 (.836) record (second-highest winning percentage in the nation among active
NCAA coaches) in six seasons as Penn States head coach. The Nittany Lions earned six NCAA tournament berths
which included two College Cup appearances during her tenure.
BACK TO THE POSTSEASON // NOVEMBER 13, 2009
The women's soccer team returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2005 and won a thrilling
contest over Arizona State by emerging on penalty kicks, 4-3, following a 1-1 draw.The Nittany Lions earned
six NCAA tournament berths which included two College Cup appearances during her tenure.
GAME-WINNING GOAL // NOVEMBER 12, 2010
Led by Kodee William's game-winning goal, Wisconsin
defeated Milwaukee, 2-1, to advance to the second round
of the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.
The victory marked the program's 12th trip to the national
tournament's second round.
BID TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP // NOVEMBER 5, 2012
After garnering a 12-7-1 mark on the season, Wisconsin earned
an at-large bid in the 2012 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
The Badgers were tabbed to face UCLA on Nov. 10 in the first
round of the postseason campaign.
