BY THE NUMBERS
WOMEN'S SOCCER
4
The women's soccer team kicks off the regular season at Connecticut on Friday. That
match will begin a four-game road swing
for the Badgers and marks just the second
time in the last decade that UW begins its
season with four straight road contests.
FOOTBALL
The 2013 season marks the last for the Bowl Championship Series
postseason format. Wisconsin is one of just 12 teams nationally to
have won at least 70 percent of its games in the BCS era. The
Badgers are 137-57 (.706) since the BCS began in 1998. Among
Big Ten teams, only Ohio State has more wins (149) and a better winning percentage (.789) than the Badgers over that span.
