addition to the sports, there are

offerings to interest everyone.

The athletic program has a main
Facebook account which has
more than 509,000 followers,
connecting with many fans.
Fans can read and comment
on stories originally posted
on UWBadgers.com as well
as find out about the latest
UW promotions and interact
with other Wisconsin fans.
In addition, 20 sports have
separate Facebook pages to
allow fans to follow their favorite
UW sport.
As of Aug. 1, 2013,
Wisconsin's main Facebook
page, Facebook.com/
WisconsinBadgers, ranked
eighth among collegiate athletic
programs in numbers of 'likes.'
The Badgers have their own
channel on You Tube with nearly
4,000 videos covering all 23
sports, gaining more than 3.4
million views.
YouTube allows the Badgers
to broadcast their teams,
reaching even more fans. These
free videos include features on
coaches, student-athletes or
practices as well as an inside
look at the program.
Some of the most popular
videos include ESPN's Scott Van
Pelt saying "Madison, Wis., is
the nation's best college town"
with more than 111,000 views.
The 2011 "Experience Wisconsin
Football" gameday experience
has more than 100,000 and our
own version of "Jump Around"
has more than 71,000 views.
Post-game locker room video
with coaches, such as UW men's
basketball coach Bo Ryan after
the big win over Michigan in
2013 has more than 130,00
views.
