ESOP After consulting with our Mission Statement, Vision, Constants, and Values, I decided to focus on values. The first value is "Independence" which resonated with me as it relates to our ESOP. Our financial performance over the years highlights a very successful company, ripe for the picking. We have hired and promoted the best and brightest staff that allows us to continue to be successful. All the other values also lend itself to the ESOP. I am thankful for the peace of mind for purposes of retirement in an environment where the risk of losing this benefit through a purchase doesn't exist. Cheryl Cumnock | Delta | Executive Assistant Employee Owner since 2007 Being an employee owner means that I have a more personal investment in my daily work, as well as our brand and culture. It also means I can trust in my teammates to do the same. We have the opportunity to make Alpine Bank an amazing place to work and to bank. Employee ownership also guarantees our independence, which is paramount in today's economy. When visiting a small business, one can usually tell who owns the business. They carry themselves differently. They carry the responsibility but also the pride of the ownership. They go the extra mile to be sure the job is done well, and the customer's expectations are exceeded. That is ownership. That's Alpine Bank. Michelle Long | Grand Junction | Customer Consultant II Employee Owner since 2019
