We're pleased to present the 2022 Environment Report
outlining Alpine Bank's continuous eorts in improving our
environmental practices.
In it, we share the "greening" eorts of our two newest
locations — Fort Collins and Colorado Springs.
You'll also read about Alpine Bank's support of Walking
Mountains Science Center, the hub of sustainability
education in Eagle County. In addition, the successful
Palisade High School (PHS) Fish Hatchery program, now in its
third year of operation, has been an important partnership.
The sh hatchery video, produced by Colorado State
University, features David Miller, co-chair of Alpine Bank's
Green Team. And remarkably, the Green Team initiative will
celebrate 20 years in 2023 as Alpine Bank celebrates 50 years.
Since its inception in 2004, the Alpine Bank ENVIRONMENT
Loyalty Debit Card has funded $2.74 million in
environmental causes. In 2021, Alpine Bank donated
$333,000 through this special card.
We hope you'll enjoy this recap, and look ahead, in this year's
publication.
My best,
J. Robert Young, Chairman
