In our 50th year, our golden anniversary, we celebrate Alpine Bank and honor its
big-hearted and visionary founder Bob Young.
Alpine Bank is an independent, employee-owned, statewide organization with more than
$6 billion in assets, 160,000 customers and 800 employees. But more than that, Alpine
Bank is humbled to be recognized as corporate citizen in Colorado; a bank that makes
giving back to the communities that made it successful the primary tenet of its existence.
When Bob established Alpine Bank in 1973, Independence, Integrity, Compassion, Loyalty
and Community were identied as its foundational core values — values that remain
relevant today. In these pages our 26 leaders express which value resonates the most with
them, and why. They recount their proudest moments in the bank's history. And of course,
they share their dreams and aspirations for the next 50 years.
