WASHINGTON HUSKIES A QUICK LOOK AT THE HUSKIES OFFENSE: The Huskies return 10 of 11 offensive starters from last season, including senior signal-caller Keith Price. He will command an offensive unit that spent the spring installing a no-huddle offense and will have several playmakers to work with. Tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins enjoyed a breakout season for the Huskies in 2012, establishing school single-season marks for receptions (69) and receiving yards (852). Junior RB Bishop Sankey will enter the fall as UW's featured back. He racked up 1,688 all-purpose yards as the primary back last season and caught 33 passes out of the backfield. Price has a big-play receiver in junior WR Kasen Williams, who is coming off a season in which he hauled in 77 passes for 878 yards (11.4 avg). DEFENSE: The defense returns its two leading tacklers in junior LB John Timu (91 tackles) and senior DB Sean Parker (77 tackles). The linebacking corps returns intact, led by Timu and sophomore Shaq Thompson. The duo combined for 165 tackles, 4.0 sacks, and five interceptions in 2012. Thompson, a natural linebacker, moves back to the position after garnering freshman All-America accolades as a nickel back. The secondary loses a sure tackler in Justin Glenn and a shutdown corner in Marcus Trufant, but Parker and sophomore Marcus Peters (44 tackles/3 int./11 PD) were fixtures in the defensive backfield last year. Defensive ends Josh Shirley (6.5 sacks/9.0 TFL) and Andrew Hudson (6.5 sacks/9.0 TFL) bolster a prolific pass rush. THE SCHEDULE: The Huskies christen a renovated Husky Stadium in the season opener vs. Boise State. The Huskies get five league contests at home, but the four road games are against Pac-12 foes who combined for a 38-16 record last season. 2012 RESUL TS (7-6, 5-4 in Pac-12 North, 4th) W.......... 21-12...............
