since the University of
Iowa wrestling team
has had three individual
champions at a Big Ten
Championships. Spencer
Lee (125 pounds), Pat Lugo
(149), and Alex Marinelli
(pictured, 165) won Big Ten
wrestling titles March 8 in
Piscataway, New Jersey.
That hasn't happened in the
same meet since 2003 (Cliff
Moore, Jessman Smith,
Steve Mocco).

won the 200 and 400-meter

Wins by the University of Iowa softball team
at the Hawaii Invitational from Feb 21-23 in
Honolulu. The Hawkeyes outscored their
opponents, 24-7.
