Independence signifies we are locally owned and operated, and this means the most to me as it protects our other values; integrity, communities, compassion and loyalty. Our values form the base on which our past and future success is grounded, allowing us to fulfill our mission: "to help our customers, employees, shareholders and community members achieve their dreams." Karla Felkey | Carbondale | Chief Risk Officer Employee Owner since 1980 Independence. Without Independence, we could not have the other four values! Tom Kenning | Glenwood Springs | Chief Administration Officer Employee Owner since 1995 Independence means the most to me. Our independence allows us to do what we think is right in relation to Integrity, Communities, Compassion and Loyalty. We do not have to answer to anyone that may not share these values with us. Eric Gardey | Glenwood Springs | Chief Financial Officer Employee Owner since 1989 Independence–Having the autonomy, confidence and boldness to freely put your values into action. I believe if you can do this, you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Susana Salamun | Wazee | Latino Services Officer Employee Owner since 2013 There are 5 key values that shape the way we do business, respect our employees and give back to the communities that we serve. It all starts with Independence. Our ability to make decisions, understand our customers needs and engage in our communities are value propositions at every level of the organization. Independence encourages creative thinking. Staying independent is not only a value but also our mission as an organization in the years ahead. Bruce Robinson | Member, Board of Directors Employee Owner since 1993 Which Alpine Bank core value relates to me, and why? Independence. #1 we aren't for sale, which brings loyalty and a strong desire to think of the bank with a long- term vision in mind. #2 we have the autonomy regionally to make decisions that fit our community, because one size does not fit all. #3 we are employee owned which develops employees that want the best for the bank and our communities. Danny Craft | Telluride | President Employee Owner since 2003 Independence allows us the opportunity to prioritize our other values. It also allows all of us to be employee owners and share in the success we're working to create for ourselves, our shareholders and our communities. Gena Cooper | Delta | Senior Vice President Human Resources Employee Owner since 2000
