2019 VHSL FIELD HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS 4 V I R G I N I A H I G H S C H O O L L E A G U E VHSL Staff VHSL is educators serving youth at 317 member schools T he Virginia High School League is an alliance of Virginia's public and ap- proved non-boarding non-public high schools that promotes educa6on, leadership, sportsmanship, character and ci6zenship for students by es- tablishing and maintaining high standards for school ac6vi6es and compe66ons. Major policies and decisions affec6ng VHSL programs are determined by a 37-member Execu6ve Commi7ee. Direc6on is provided by group boards and by region and conference councils. Finally, all member principals have oversight at region mee6ngs and at fall and spring membership mee6ngs.
