University of Iowa running back Shonn Greene was named Most Valuable Player of
the 2009 Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida, after rushing for 132 yards and scoring
three touchdowns in Iowa's 31-10 victory over South Carolina. Ten years later, the
Hawkeyes won their third Outback Bowl, defeating 18th-ranked Mississippi State,
27-22, behind an MVP performance from senior wide receiver Nick Easley.
