Class Notes 1980s Albert Myres (BSBA '86) established his own government and public policy firm, A. Myres & Associates LLC, in Houston. His firm offers energy advocacy, crisis and disaster resolution management, and environmental stewardship and stakeholder engagement strategies. Chris Crawshaw (BSBA '88) has been promoted to president of Chicago-based Advisory Research Inc., a leading investment firm with more than $9 billion in assets under management. Since joining the firm, he has helped cultivate numerous institutional client relationships and played an instrumental role in launching the firm's mutual fund business. He was also actively involved in the successful transition of the firm upon its sale to Piper Jaffray in 2010. 2000s Chris Boone (BSBA '02), director of outpatient quality and health IT for the American Heart Association in Dallas, was appointed to the federal Health Information Technology (HIT) Policy Committee. The HIT Policy Committee makes recommendations to the national coordinator for health IT on the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information. Calvin Moniz (BSBA '06, MBA '08), Laura Beth Bevill (BA '09) and David Scherer (BSBA '09) were named Tulsa's New Leaders by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Sooner Chapter on April 5, 2012. In April, Calvin was named director of development for the Collins College of Business at The University of Tulsa. David Fuess (BSBA '89) has been promoted to president of Catapult Systems, Inc., a $55 million per year Microsoft-based IT consulting company, employing more than 350 people in eight locations across the U.S. David was an All-American football player and record holder who played in the Blue-Gray All-Star game in 1989. He lives in Lone Tree, Colo., with his wife and two daughters. Ramiro Rangel (MBA '89) is the newest member of the Oklahoma Commission on Marginally Producing Oil and Gas Wells. His nomination by Governor Mary Fallin was approved by the Oklahoma State Senate on May 16. Ramiro lives in Edmond, Okla., and is vice president of commercial and human resources at Enogex. 1990s T.J. Prebil (BSBA '96) married Erinn McNeill in Edgartown, Mass., on September 5, 2011. TU alumni in attendance included Jack Prebil (BSBA '99), Craig Spenner (BA '95), Robbie Overlease (BPE '96), Julie Niedzielski Overlease (BS '96), Mike Margiotta (BSBA '96, MBA '06), Julie Schmidt Margiotta (BSP '96, MS '99) and Laura Kirkpatrick Jordan (BSBA '98). The couple resides in Chicago, where T.J. is a marketing manager for a Danish software company, and Erinn is a producer at Harpo Studios. Lindsey Naylor (BA '08) married Joseph Finger (BSBA '08) on September 24, 2011, in Kansas City, Mo. The couple resides in St. Louis. S. Christopher Lopp (BSBA '96, MBA '99) and Jennifer Garrett Lopp (BSBA '98, MBA '00) are happy to announce the birth of their third son, William Benjamin, on March 29, 2012. He joins big brothers Matthew, 9, and Andrew, 7. Jason Pinson (JD '98, MBA '02) is the managing partner of BP Law Group LLP's Arlington, Tex., office. Jason Wander (BSBA '98, MBA '01) and Nancy Robertson Wander (BA '01) welcomed a baby girl, Stella Grace, on July 15, 2011. Stella joins her five-year-old sister, Ava. The Wander family lives in Kansas City, Mo., where Jason is director of HealtheAthlete at Cerner Corporation, and Nancy is a full-time mother. Send us your news: We want to hear what you're up to.
