The 2008 University of Iowa field hockey team went 18-5, won the Big Ten
Tournament, and posted two NCAA Tournament wins to advance to the
NCAA Final Four. The 2018 Hawkeyes have won three straight contests to
improve to 10-2 overall. It is the program's best start since 2008.
