UCLA 2018 PAC-12 BASEBALL // PAC-12 CONFERENCE 22 JOHN SAVAGE Career Record: 537-412-2 (16 years) Record at UCLA: 449-328-1 (13years) • Currently the third longest-tenured head coach in UCLA baseball program history and has gone 449-328-1 in 13 seasons. • UCLA's all-time leader in the postseason, compiling a 35-18 record (.660) earning bids in six of the last eight seasons and three trips to the College World Series (2010, 2012, 2013). • One of eight head coaches in NCAA history to have led his team to a College World Series, produced a No. 1 overall draft pick and coached a Golden Spikes Award winner. • In 2008, led the Bruins to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season, marking the first time UCLA has earned three-straight postseason berths. • In 2004, led UC Irvine to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, compiling a 34-23-1 record that year. • Relaunched the UC Irvine program in 2001 and spent the entire season recruiting and building the foundation for the program, which began play in 2002.
