OREGON STATE 2018 PAC-12 BASEBALL // PAC-12 CONFERENCE 18 PAT CASEY Career Record: 1,016-559-6 (29 years) Record at Oregon State: 841-446-5 (23 years) • Led Oregon State to a school-record 56 victories (56-6) in 2017 and posted a .903 winning percentage, which is tied for the fourth-best mark in NCAA Division I history. • OSU's all-time leader in career victories, Casey led the team to its 17th postseason in 2017, including the sixth College World Series apperance and his fifth since 2005. • The Beavers hold a 58-35 (.624) postseason record with Casey claiming 53 of those victories. • Named National Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season in 2007 after his second straight College World Series title. • Named National and Pac-10 Coach of the Year in 2006 after he led Oregon State to its first national title, their second NCAA championship all-time (men's cross country, 1961). • A 1990 graduate of George Fox College, he played at Portland from 1978-80, earning first team Pac-10 honors as an outfielder in 1979 and 1980. • A 10th-round pick by San Diego in 1980.
