Dominic Morelli Equipment Manager Director of Football Business Operations 31st Season at UNC Dominic Morelli enters his 31st season with the Carolina football pro- gram. He oversees the UNC football equipment room and business operati- ions, including the yearly football budget. Morelli began as Carolina’s equipment manager in 1980 under then head coach Dick Crum. He has worked for six Carolina head coaches in his tenure as equipment manager. He was named Carolina’s Ernie Williamson Award in 2003 as the athletic department’s top employee. A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Morelli earned his degree from Guilford College in 1980. Morelli attended Ledford High School where he was a stu- dent manager for current UNC assistant coach Ken Browning. Morelli and his wife, Nana, have a daughter, Kaitlin and a son, Troy Joseph. Williams graduated from Carolina in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in management and society. He worked one year for the Atlantic Coast Conference office before returning to Chapel Hill to earn a Master’s degree in sports administration. Williams is married to the former Shayla Higginbotham, and they have a newborn daughter, Waverly. Tommy Love Davis Defensive Graduate Assistant Coach First Season at UNC UNC Letterwinner, 2002-05 Tommy Love Davis, a former Tar Heel defensive end, is in his first sea- son as Carolina’s defensive graduate assistant coach. Davis, who played for the Tar Heels from 2002-05, had been working in private business the last two years in Maryland and Washington, D.C. A native of Dudley, N.C., Davis started three consecutive seasons at defensive end and was an honorable-mention All-ACC selection in 2005 after leading the team with 10 tackles for losses and eight sacks. Davis finished his career with 153 tackles. Following his senior season, he was signed as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints. He also played for the New York Giants and Washington Redskins in 2007-08. He and his wife, Juanita, reside in Chapel Hill. Jason Onyebuagu Offensive Graduate Assistant Coach The Morelli Family: Nana, Kaitlin, Troy & Dominic Andre Williams Director of Football Student- Athlete Development Sixth Season at UNC UNC Letterwinner, 2000-01 Andre’ Williams, a former Tar Heel tailback, is in his sixth year as Carolina’s Director of Football Student-Athlete Development. In that role, Williams works with the players in various administrative roles, including financial aid mat- ters, housing, community service projects and as a liaison with the academic support program and compliance office. Williams lettered at Carolina in 2000 and 2001 before a back injury forced him to stop playing football. He was the Tar Heels’ leading rusher in 2001, when Carolina went 8-5 and won the Peach Bowl over Auburn. He also earned Academic All-ACC honors in 2001. 66 • TarHeelBlue.com Jason Onyebuagu enters his first season as an offensive graduate assistant coach and will work primarily with UNC’s offensive linemen. Onyebuagu comes to Chapel Hill after serving one season as the offen- sive line coach at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. He was a four-year letterwinner at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., from 2006-09. He earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors in 2009 and was a second-team selection in 2008. Onyebuagu served as team captain as a senior. He played in 51 games and started 38 at guard and center. After completing his college playing career, Onyebuagu was signed as a free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars and participated in the team’s mini-camp.
