huskers was Wisconsins first over
a top-10 ranked opponent since the
2010-11 season, when the Badgers
beat then-No. 5 Minnesota, 19-17, at
the 2011 NWCA National Duals on
Jan. 9, 2011. Since then, Wisconsin
had lost seven straight duals to top10 ranked opponents.
For a team that went without a conference win last season, the Badgers
undefeated start to Big Ten season
this year is cause for optimism and
shows that head coach Barry Davis
and his staff have the program heading back in the right direction.
