greatest strengths as
Wisconsins point guard was
being able to pass up a good
scoring opportunity for a
great one. On a short break
from playing professionally in Rome, Taylor was in
town Wednesday to watch
the Badgers 65-54 win over
Green Bay and couldnt help

but keep that same patience
in mind.
Taylor had just watched
the Badgers overcome a slow
start to pull away with a comfortable win, but hes seen
several of UWs games and
knows all about the teams
early-seasons ups and downs.

over-react, but I know these guys will
be just fine.
Taylor has seen firsthand how a Bo
Ryan team can come together after a
slow start. During his freshman season, the Badgers endured a six-game
losing streak in January, only to win
20 games and upset Florida State in
the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
Im confident that theyll keep
getting better and better, he said.
Thats the nature of this program.
The pieces are in place, it just needs
to come together.
On the run
In Wednesdays win over Green
Bay, UW ended the first half on a
13-2 run and opened the second
stanza with the first five points.
In total, the Badgers ripped off an
18-2 run, turning a 14-21 deficit
into a 32-23 lead. Green Bay went
scoreless for a span of 6:39 during
UWs run, including the final 4:00
of the first half.
