The Lady Flames have excelled in the classroom,
earning many awards and recognitions, both as a
team and individually.
Liberty has been listed among the nation's top 15
women's basketball teams for GPA five times in
program history. (Please see next page for more
details.) The 2006-07 Lady Flames ranked a
program-best No. 7 with a 3.508 team GPA.
Seven Lady Flames made the 2011-12 Big South
Presidential Honor Roll, for maintaining a GPA
of 3.0 or higher.

Two Liberty players have been ESPN The
Magazine Academic All-Americans during their
time with the Lady Flames. Megan Frazee was
a first team selection in 2008-09, after being
included on the second team in 2007-08. Kristal
Tharp also earned a spot on the second team
during her senior campaign, 2004-05.
