University of Iowa sophomore running back Mark Weisman picks up a portion of his game-high 91 rushing yards Nov. 23 against Nebraska in the Heroes Game. (Photo by Chris Donahue) Well, Printy not only saw action against Northern Illinois — she was the first reserve off the bench — and she contributed 11 points in Iowa's 63-40 victory. "It's a great feeling, I can't even describe it," Printy said. "It's so fun to be out there with my teammates, and play in front of these fans. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time." The story gets better. Five days later, Printy pops a 3-pointer with one tick left in regulation to pull Bluder's Bunch into a 59-all tie with Middle Tennessee State. She then proceeds to deliver the Hawkeyes to a date with North Carolina in the 22 2012 Preseason WNIT final with eight points in the extra session. "If I can risk stating the obvious, it's nice to have Jaime Printy back," Bluder — said. Yeah, the college basketball season is very young… but that's a pretty good story in the making. Go Hawks!
