The tournament is an ear- ly-season staple of the NCAA 58 » VARSITY NOVEMBER 29, 2012 wrestling season and will feature nine of the top-25 teams in the country and 68 of the top-ranked individu- al wrestlers, which, for the Badgers, means a chance to measure themselves against some of the best the country has to offer. "It's an elite event," Wis- consin head coach Barry Da- The opportunity to go against some of the NCAA's best gives the UW wrestlers a chance to work their way into the individual rankings and set themselves up for success at the NCAA tournament. UW wrestlers in the rankings » The Badgers will have two ranked wrestlers in Las Vegas. No. 8 Tyler Graff (4-1) will compete at 141 lbs. and No. 15 Connor Medbery (4-0) will wrestle at heavyweight.
