What did your team do for Thanksgiving dinner?
Question of the Week: KEEGAN MEUER • JUNIOR • MEN'S HOCKEY
"For Thanksgiving, I had the whole team over to my house. Wednes- day night, not many of the guys were able to get home to their fami- lies. It was kind of a nice team thing where we can all come together. We had a meal together. We had a few laughs and played a little ping-pong in my basement. The hockey team is a second family so we wanted to spend time together. We celebrated Thanksgiving and we are thankful for having each other and all the blessings in our lives."
CHRIS BORLAND • JUNIOR • FOOTBALL
"We got together and went to Samba Brazilian Steakhouse. I think we ate the place out of business, seeing as how it has unlimited meat and appetiz- ers. Our offensive line and defensive line had a 20-minute fight the day before about who would get the table closest to the kitchen. It was a good time, though, getting to break bread with the teammates and celebrate Thanksgiving if we couldn't make it home."
MARY ORDING SENIOR • VOLLEYBALL
"It was the best Thanksgiving ever! I was so thankful that my parents invited the entire volleyball team to our house for an awesome Thanksgiving dinner. We were playing at Purdue and my parents live in Carmel, Ind. so we were able to stop by. I can't imagine a better meal with both of my families together."
BEN BRUST • JUNIOR • MEN'S BASKETBALL
"Well, it wasn't your traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but it was still nice. We were out in Las Vegas for a tournament and the team all ate Thanksgiving meal together at one of the restaurants in our team hotel. We had a buffet with all of the usual Thanksgiving foods like turkey, stuffing, mashed pota- toes and gravy, etc. The food was really good and the restaurant had outdoor tables, so we all ate in the 75-degree weather, which was really nice."
